Our Mountain View School, St. Stephen is back in session! We kicked off the year by going on a mini field trip to Infinite Aquarium during the very first week! Check out some of the photos from our adventure!
Steven at Infinite Aquarium was a great tour guide! He educated us on different types of fish, care requirements, and the nitrogen cycle. He was able to answer all of our questions! He is definitely an expert fish keeper and we highly recommend this place!
We wanted to adopt so many of the fish. But they helped steer us in the right direction. We have a 30 gallon tank set up in our classroom for our class pets this year. We added a school of neon tetras, an albino pleco algea eater, and 3 cory catfish to our tank, which already is home to “Gary the Gourami” and a group of Mollies.
Since some of our students are virtual and we are still doing hybrid learning, we brought along our online students via zoom.
More fun field trips are in the works for our school year. We hope to add joy and enrichment as we continue going on learning adventures!
